63rd Girona Temps de Flors 2018 - Exhibition of flors, monuments and gardens - Blog Costa Girona
From May 12 to 20, 2018 we will enjoy a new edition of Girona Temps de Flors, an initiative with more than 60 years of history in the city of Girona.
Its first edition, called Contest Provincial Exhibition of Flowers, took place in 1954 and was held in the Rest Room of the Municipal Theater of Girona. Over the years, this exhibition has been growing by giant steps to reach the most important floral pageant in Europe. Today, it hosts thousands and thousands of visitors who are captivated by the city and its magic.
This year new proposals and new scenarios are incorporated, for example, the impressive and emblematic gardens of the Devesa and the artistic itinerary Pla V, located in the natural space between the Archaeological promenade and the Galligants river. Also noteworthy is the opening of other spaces, such as the Campaner Gardens, next to the Cathedral, which had never been visited before during the floral exhibitions of Girona Temps de Flors.
